Long time gone...

Hi there!
Its been some time since we updated the website so we used the rainy day as an opportunity to bring this up to date.  We have been constantly at work with countless projects, some of which you can see photos of in the new custom woodworks page.  We have switched gears slightly and have been doing quite a bit of woodworking as of late and the results are amazing to say the least.  From solid walnut furniture to restaurant installations we have been hard at work creating one of a kind pieces that are built to last.  We had two of our boards go out to charities this spring and summer.  The Surfrider Foundation Malibu Chapter auctioned off a 9' Redwood Dagger for its annual benefit and the Yosemite Climbing association auctioned off a 6'2" Redwood and Maple shortboard.  We are very proud to call these organizations our friends and partners in improving the quality of our public spaces.  We also built a wine bar for a restaurant on Melrose in Hollywood, as well as a wine cellar for a private client in the hills.  The new solid walnut furniture we are building needs to be seen in person to grasp the beauty of the wood.  Curly grained coffee tables and record stands are avaliable to purchase right now.  The webstore should be up and running by the end of the year, so until then simply shoot us an email to place an order.

As always, we are most interested in custom one of a kind work, so please feel free to contact us anytime to discuss future projects!

Untill next time!

Renegade Craft Fair December 14th & 15th

We'll be at the Renegade Craft Fair this weekend with surfboards as well as Holiday gifts made from off cuts from our surfboard production.  We'll be sharing a booth with our good friend Rusty Cuts.  The fair is located at the Los Angeles State Historic Park and will be held from 10 - 5 each day.  Admission is free.  Come say hello!

Here's a spotlight feature on their blog about Year One from December 12th. Check it.

We have a couple boards hanging over at Seven Points in Downtown LA.  They just opened the space and it is really something.  Stop on by and check out the boards in person.
